Changes to Refdoc

RefDoc moves towards Open Access.

From January 7th 2013, Refdoc is changing and giving users the opportunity to check whether their documents are available in open archives.
With just one click users can run a parallel search on Hal (over 200,000 document records) and Base Lab (40 million records). This new search function will soon be extended to other open archive repositories.

Towards an integrated service!

In 2013, Refdoc will integrate the document records of several open archive repositories.
For all document requests, an automatic search will be run on these open archives and when the document requested is available in these repositories, a link to the full text version will be directly displayed in the results list.

We would like to take this opportunity to inform you that the Direction of the Cnrs has decided to insource the activities of its private subsidiary, Inist Diffusion S.A.

These activities will therefore be transferred to the Cnrs as of December 31st 2011. This of course requires modifications to the computing system of our document copy supply service, Refdoc.
Consequently, we would like to inform you that the document copy supply service and Refdoc will be closed from December 23rd 2011 at 3pm (French time) until January 3rd 2012 at 8am (French time). No orders will be processed during this period.

We are very sorry for any inconvenience this may cause you and thank you very much for your understanding.

Our aim is always to respond to your stated requirements and we are therefore happy to be able to inform you of the latest improvements made to your document order platform:
To make the order confirmation process easier:

it is now simpler to accept the Sales Terms And Conditions.

To make managing your profile more efficient:

the address tab: you can now customise the information on the address tab of your UC account(s);

exporting your deposit account statement: the separator has been replaced by a comma to make calculations easier;

the deposit account statement: a “service” column has been added and will display the delivery method you chose for each of your orders.
