Helping you draft Data Management Plans
Planning the management of research data is a key element to secure their preservation and re-usability for the scientific community.
In the framework of CNRS strategy for STI, Inist is launching DMP OPIDoR a new online service for Higher Education and Research.
This intuitive and collaborative tool will guide scientists and partners step-by-step through the writing of a data management plan or DMP* by providing several templates recommended by institutions and funding bodies (e.g. the European Commission) together with guides and customised examples.
Overall, DMP OPIDoR is part of a wider approach to collaboration and exchanges and will be updated from the reflections and developments conducted at national and international level.
*A DMP describes the data management life cycle for the data to be collected, processed, documented, stored, archived, preserved and shared throughout a research project.
