CNRS dépasser les frontières

facilitates access to results from all fields of world research

Launch of BibCnrs, Wednesday November 9th 2016

In a few days, the new portal for access to CNRS digital document resources will open. BibCnrs will replace the current information portals on Wednesday November 9th.
BiblioVIE, BiblioSHS, BiblioST2I, TitaneSciences, BiblioPl@net and BiblioSciences will close on November 7th at 3 p.m. Then, on November 9th CNRS researchers will then be able to find all their usual document resources via BibCnrs, the new platform with a single interface offering a dedicated space for each of the ten CNRS Institutes.

Users will be required to sign in via Janus (Sesame), the CNRS identity provider which enables the authentication of personnel in CNRS for access to applications such as Labintel or Agate.

New functions will be provided to help optimize the integration of BibCnrs into the digital working environment:

- On publishers’ websites, a rights holder bookmark provides access to full text versions of articles.
- It is possible to adjust the settings on Google Scholar so that articles available in full text are flagged.

We will help researchers discover and learn to use their new portal by providing tutorials and of course will be there to reply to any questions they may have.

’Rendez-vous’ on November 9th.
