EzPAARSE (easy / Progiciel d’Analyse des Acces aux RessourceS Electroniques, easy / Progiciel for Analyzing Access to Electronic Resources) is a tool for the analysis, enrichment and exploitation of access logs for digital resources on publishers’ web platforms. These are collected locally by a proxy.
The main aim of this tool is to measure the usage of digital resources by quantifying and characterizing it in relation to user groups, disciplines and pre-defined time frames. With this tool, homogeneous indicators can be constructed which are essential for reliable usage analysis.
This usage measurement tool project is backed by Inist-CNRS, Couperin and the University of Lorraine.
